YRNC is a small, local, grassroots organization that is 100% volunteer-led. We rely heavily on our community to support the work that we do and are always seeking to connect with new, interested volunteers. Learn more about our various volunteer opportunities below!

Does being on a board sound super intimidating?
We totally get it. YRNC is many of our members’ first board experience and we do everything we can to make the space as comfortable as possible. We are dedicated to making the role accessible and open to folks of all ages and experiences. We believe in the value of your perspective and we want to hear from you! You got this :)
Our greatest need at the moment is for year-round volunteers that are interested in helping us develop the organization and push forward the goals of our Strategic Plan.
The YRNC Board is open to women, girls, trans (of any identity), and gender expansive people at or above the age of 13 that share our Core Values.
Board terms begin at two years, with the option to renew. Board members are expected to dedicate approximately 5-10 hours a month to Youth Rock NC.
